About Rick Ayers

I’m a packaging design and production professional with extensive experience creating and leading consumer packaging for major retail and consumer brands. My background combines creative packaging design with hands-on expertise in production artwork, prepress, print production and retail execution.

I currently lead packaging design and production at Cirkul and previously led packaging design initiatives for Walmart U.S. Private Brands, including large-scale packaging programs and brand refreshes spanning hundreds of SKUs. My experience also includes packaging leadership roles with Kids2 and WestRock/RockTenn.

My strength is taking packaging from concept through production, balancing strong creative design with the technical details required to successfully manufacture and launch packaging at scale. I have experience across folding cartons, labels, flexible packaging, corrugated, retail displays, PDQs and other consumer packaging formats, working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, printers and production partners.

My work spans packaging design, branding, production artwork, mechanical execution, print production, retail merchandising and creative direction.
